Hi all. I apologize for my rudeness in not properly introducing myself before asking for assistance.
My name is Al McLeod. I live in Winnipeg, Canada, and I'm an information Technology Director for a large Insurance Company.
I started collecting watches a while back - mostly Swiss mechanical (Rolex, Omega, Tag) and Quartz to start. Then I discovered Japanese watches - especially Seiko - and started collecting Japanese Domestic Market and vintage Seikos.
More recently I added a few vintage Bulova Accutron Spaceviews to my collection. These are cool, but fragile watches.
And finally, in the last year I started getting interested in DSM and LCD watches. I have a small collection, here's a few pictures:

I also have another Casio on the way, a Berus LED and a Tissot T-Touch.
I'm sure my small collection is insignificant compared to most on this forum, but I'm hooked now...
Thanks to everyone for the advice on the Seiko A829. I look forward to participating in the forum in the future, and watching my collection grow.
I must admit though, I've been fairly Hands off with my other watches to date. I've only done strap and battery changes, bracelet resizes, touch ups and the like. I'm pretty nervous about getting more hands on. But I'm going to give it a try.
Al
