Wanted: Very Large Bulky Watches

Post30 Oct 2006, 23:33

Hi,

I am looking for LCD/LED watches that have really big digital displays.

I am setting up a website with poorly sited people in mind and will also source talking watches.

If you can help in any way I would be very grateful

Is 10mm digit height enough?
Some LCDs:
Ventura sparc px (3rd watch from the left)
Rosendahl Flemming Bo Hansen Watch II and III (shop link, Watch III isn't on the Rosendahl homepage yet)
Fossil Starck PH1077
The Fossil is the only one with backlight.

Talking: Nixon "the battery eater" DORK

How big is "much bigger" than 10mm?
The watch with the biggest digits I know (of watches with considerable quality) is the Fossil Starck Sand Digital PH1064. The non-inverted version (black segments on white background) has good contrast. But IMHO readability is not very good because the digits are quite narrow.

You are on the right track now. The size is great but needs to be double the thickness.
