Sorry if this is painfully obvious...
General rule of thumb for all brands - if a watch has a round, battery-sized, battery hatch, there is no reset function performed via the rear of the movement. You can always try poking any depressed setting button and then pressing the various command buttons, as some small percentage of watches had power saving features that allowed them to be shipped with batteries installed but not running. The light button's function is separate from any movement function, so it is not an indicator of anything other than you have a live battery installed.
